DESCRIPTION
As part of the OFF Enjoia’t 2026, A-FAD gives voice to the new generations of creators through Corones Talent ’26, a project developed in collaboration with jewelry and design schools in Barcelona. One of the most unique traditions of Enjoia’t is that the winner of each edition is tasked with designing and producing a crown inspired by their own creative universe, which is subsequently used to crown the winner of the next edition. With Corones Talent ’26, this tradition opens up to the students, inviting them to reinterpret the concept of a crown from a unique, contemporary, and personal perspective. Each participant creates a unique piece, exploring the object from their own approach to jewelry, materials, techniques, and artistic expression. The resulting crowns will be presented in exhibitions organized by the participating schools as part of the OFF Enjoia’t circuit, incorporating the work of the new creators into the program of the Contemporary Jewelry Week, which will take place from October 15 to 25, 2026. Among all the crowns presented, a committee of experts from JORGC and A-FAD, composed of Teresa Estapé and Maria Luisa Samaranch, will select a single winning piece, which will receive the JORGC Award for Young Talent. The winner will be able to choose between a Technical Monographic Course at the JORGC school or a Strategic Professional Advisory Service, with mentoring in areas such as business, taxation or gemology to support their professional development. The winner will be announced and receive the certificate on October 22, 2026, during the closing event of the Contemporary Jewelry Week at DHub.
