DESCRIPTION
Form Across Scales by Ramon Puig Cuyàs The way up the stairs. When does one leave a form of belonging to a discipline? Hannah Gallery presents Form Across Scales, an exhibition by Ramon Puig Cuyàs that brings together, for the first time, jewels, objects and sculptures conceived as parts of a single artistic investigation. Rather than seeing jewelry and sculpture as separate languages, Puig Cuyàs has been developing a research focused on form, composition, and the construction of space for decades. His works are organized as open structures, where lines, voids, and tensions create a visual rhythm that invites the viewer to slowly walk through them. As the artist writes, «making becomes a way of thinking.» The form is not the result of a previous idea, but the place where intuition, matter, and experience meet and transform each other. With this exhibition, Hannah Gallery continues a curatorial line dedicated to questioning the boundaries between disciplines and exploring how artistic research transcends the physical scale of the works. After Solid Waves by Trinidad Contreras, Form Across Scales expands on this reflection by focusing on the relationship between jewelry and sculpture, not as separate languages, but as expressions of the same formal thought.
