DESCRIPTION
From the object to the body, Conchita Pineda and Franklin Hernández bring together a dialogue about Wearable Art and contemporary artistic jewelry as territories where painting, sculpture, and the body converge.

The exhibition presents, for the first time, the preview of the new research by Conchita Pineda, where jewelry is transformed into a habitable object through real-life sculptures made of copper, pure bronze, alpaca, and silver. In parallel, Franklin Hernández brings painting to the space of clothing through interventions on clothing pieces, assemblages, and resin, preserving the memory of the objects and exploring identity, time, and experience.

The exhibition will be open from October 15 to 23 in the Social Room of the Cercle Artístic de Sant Lluc (Barcelona). On Saturday, October 17, from 11:00 to 14:00, there will be a meeting with the artists, a conversation about their research accompanied by a mimosa toast.
